Client: Saunders International / Sydney Water
Location: Liverpool
Scope of Works: Construction of a new steel water reservoir foundation including the following activities:
- Bulk Earthworks & disposal of spoil off site
- Excavation for mass concrete foundation to rock level up to 6m deep
- Subsoil drainage
- Trimming of subgrade and subsequent pavement layers to a conical shape
- Placement of 1m thick gravel pavement including hand compaction adjacent to concrete ring beam
- Installation of 100mm bitumen sand layer (in a conical shape) to extremely tight tolerances to allow subsequent steel tank construction
All works were carried out in full compliance with Sydney Water specifications well within program requirements
